Marked as unverified
Section titled “Marked as unverified”- Power-on after BMC discovery. The pages above do not say whether lease autodiscovery powers a server on by itself. The walkthrough shows
nextbootpxeandpowercycleas operator or workflow actions. - Matching a booting host to a BMC-created machine. The pages do not describe how DRP links the two records. The whoami fingerprint, which includes NIC MACs, is the likely path.
- Machine actions page. The actions list comes from the dev branch of the docs. The stable IPMI Plugin Usage page covers discovery and the service user but not the action list.
Not covered by the walkthrough
Section titled “Not covered by the walkthrough”High availability with RAFT on port 8093, multi-site management, contexts that run tasks in containers, and image-based deploys. Each is a candidate for a later walkthrough.
